Kupala Foster

Kupala Foster - Attorney

Kupala Foster was born on the Big Island of Hawai’i and raised in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle and the island of O’ahu. She graduated from Summit in North Seattle in the Class of 2000.

Kupala earned her undergraduate degree in Pre-Law/Paralegal from Central Washington University. While at CWU, Kupala received awards for her work with Youth Courts throughout Washington State. After graduating, Kupala earned her law degree from Seattle University (SU). While studying law at SU, she taught Street Law and mock-trial to students at Ballard High School.

In 2009, Kupala opened her personal injury law practice in the Greenlake area of Seattle. After pausing her professional career to raise her three children full-time, Kupala returns to the practice of law with her husband to serve clients and their families in Snohomish and King County, Washington.

When she is not advocating for Foster Law clients with insurance adjusters and corporate decision-makers, Kupala teaches Street Law to middle schoolers. She enjoys introducing young minds to legal concepts and critical thinking and developing their analytical and advocacy skills.

In addition to her experience and work as a mother, attorney, and teacher, Kupala has practiced the discipline of Hula since age 7. Starting at Sunshine from Polynesia in Magnolia, she continues to enjoy the training, beauty, and practice of hula through her dedication to Ka’eaikahelelani Hālau.

Kupala enjoys advocacy at all levels of the law. Whether pursuing optimal outcomes for Foster Law clients who are facing complex and life-altering experiences, negotiating with adjusters and attorneys to ensure the complexities and nuances of each client’s situation are resolved in the client’s best interest, or helping young minds tackle complex legal issues, Kupala strives to produce outcomes where the access to justice is not only vigorously pursued but gained.
