Compassion and Grit, in Equal Measure
Delivering justice is more than a passion for Jeff and Kupala Foster. It's a way of life. The husband and wife team combine compassion and grit to achieve strong results for their clients.
Jeff was born and raised in Snohomish County. He graduated from Mariner High School in Mukilteo, captained the basketball team at Central Washington University, earning All-State and Honorable Mention All-American honors, and received his law degree from Seattle University School of Law. He founded Foster Law Offices in August 2003 and has spent over two decades representing injury victims in Snohomish County Superior Court. He is licensed to practice in both Washington and Hawaii.
Kupala was born in Kona, Hawaii and raised in Seattle's Magnolia neighborhood. She has danced hula since she was seven years old and continues to pass that tradition down to their children. She earned her undergraduate degree from Central Washington University and her law degree from Seattle University School of Law.
Together, Jeff and Kupala have recovered tens of millions of dollars for injured clients and their families. They work together on all cases, identifying client needs, battling insurance companies, and fighting for the full financial compensation available under Washington law for every harm and loss their clients have suffered.
How Foster Law Works
Foster Law is based in Mukilteo and handles virtually every aspect of your case by phone, text, email, or Zoom. No office visit is ever required. Evening and weekend appointments are available. If it's easier for us to come to you, at home, at the hospital, or wherever is most convenient, we do that too.
Our office purposefully carries a small caseload. This is by design. When a client or family is going through the enormous life changes caused by a severe injury or a death, a magnitude of complexities arise: legal, medical, financial, and emotional. Jeff and Kupala work together on every case to address those needs. You deal with Jeff or Kupala directly from the first call through final resolution.
We offer a free consultation for all personal injury cases. During that first conversation, we listen carefully, ask questions, and work hard to understand what you need to achieve success against the responsible parties. We may ask to review documents such as police reports, witness statements, and medical records. Even before formally taking on a case, we work hard to ensure you receive the highest caliber of legal advice.
We represent clients who live in or have been injured throughout Snohomish County, including Everett, Mukilteo, Marysville, Edmonds, Lynnwood, Bothell, Snohomish, Monroe, Mill Creek, and the surrounding communities. We also serve clients in King County, Seattle, and the Eastside, as well as throughout Hawaii.

Why Clients Choose Foster Law
We Work Differently. By Design.
No recovery, no fee.
We work exclusively on a contingency fee basis. You pay nothing unless we win. No retainer, no hourly billing. Our fee comes as a percentage of the compensation we recover for you.
Small caseload by design.
Our office purposefully limits the cases we take so Jeff and Kupala can give every client the unique, personalized attention their case demands. We are not a factory firm.
Direct attorney access.
Jeff and Kupala personally handle every case — you always have a direct line to your attorney throughout the process. Satisfied clients are our greatest source of new clients, and that starts with communication.
Trial-ready from day one.
Insurance companies maintain databases on law firms. They know which ones settle fast and which ones go to trial. We prepare every case as if it's going to court, and that preparation produces better results.
Focus groups on significant cases.
For significant cases, we conduct intensive focus group sessions, presenting the facts to real people and gathering honest feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of your case. Almost no small firm in Snohomish County does this.
Free consultation.
Your first call costs nothing and carries no obligation. We will listen, ask questions, and give you real legal advice, even before you decide whether to hire us. Call or text (425) 971-5400.
Our Team
The People Fighting for You
Community Commitment
Invested in More Than Your Case
Jeff and Kupala have deep roots in the communities they serve. Long before a client picks up the phone, they are already giving back to the people and organizations that make Snohomish County and Hawaii home.
Boys & Girls Club
Jeff serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Club, an organization he has supported for years. His commitment to young people in Snohomish County runs well beyond the courtroom.
Street Law
Kupala teaches Street Law to middle school students, helping young people understand their rights before they ever need a lawyer. She believes that accessible legal knowledge is a form of justice in itself.
Pro Bono Service
Jeff provides pro bono legal work for the Native Hawaiian Legal Corporation, supporting Native Hawaiian communities with access to legal representation they might not otherwise afford.
